About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Presales Intern to support our business development and solutioning activities across GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and various international tender portals. This role involves reviewing tenders, evaluating RFPs/RFQs, preparing submissions, and coordinating with multiple internal teams to compile high-quality responses.

This internship offers significant exposure to real-world presales processes, government procurement norms, and global bidding standards—making it an excellent learning opportunity for individuals who want to build a career in presales, business development, or project management.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze tender notices, RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement documents on GeM and international portals.
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments (Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, Delivery, etc.) to gather information required for proposal development.

  • Assist in preparing EOIs, bid responses, proposals, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain databases for upcoming tenders, submission trackers, timelines, and documentation.
  • Ensure all submissions are made accurately, professionally, and within the specified deadlines.
  • Support the presales team in preparing standardized proposal templates, capability decks, and company profiles.
  • Conduct basic market research to understand customer needs and competitor offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and documentation standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Recent Graduates in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and comprehension skills for reviewing detailed documents like tenders and RFPs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general digital tools.

Preferred / Good to Have:

  • Prior exposure to or working knowledge of the GeM portal.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, government bidding, or proposal writing.
  • Experience using online tender platforms or CRM tools.
